Helen is Senior Vice President and Managing Director, EMEA, based in London. She has a wealth of experience in providing research-based advice to political, public sector and corporate organisations around the world, helping her clients develop campaign strategies and tactics to meet the challenges of a global and rapidly changing environment. Her expertise includes corporate reputation, brand positioning and tracking, creative testing, stakeholder engagement, internal communications, messaging and crisis polling.
She has extensive international experience and has led a number of global strategic research projects for clients such as Pearson, GSK, HSBC, Rezidor Hotel Group and Ford.
Helen is an expert qualitative researcher, practiced at interviewing hard-to-reach groups as well as senior audiences including politicians, chief executives and newspaper editors. Her quantitative experience spans a wide range of methodologies including face-to-face random probability research and statistical analysis techniques.
Prior to joining PSB, Helen was Head of Political Research at Ipsos MORI where she spearheaded the company’s political and electoral research. She led Ipsos MORI’s 2010 UK general election polling, including a series of polls in key marginal constituencies for Reuters, instant reaction to the leaders’ debates for BBC News at Ten and a final prediction poll for the Evening Standard. As well as political research, Helen focused on wider social trends and cross-cutting issues at the heart of government.
Helen is a commentator on political and social trends, including the book ‘Political Communications in Britain’ where she contributed to analysis of how the parties, electorate and media participated in the democratic process during the 2010 campaign. She received her BA (Hons) in History from Cambridge University.
